LionLike MindState Poetry

LionLike MindState began at a community of faith and art called, Mosiac in Chino, Ca in 2008. Began as a joint effort between Judah 1 and Nathan Neighbor. During our time in Chino we made history, boasting over 200 people per show and sending the First Poetry SLAM Team to the National Poetry Slam in 2009. We also sent the IE Youth Team to Brave New Voices to represent the Inland Empire in Chicago. The following year, LionLike sent another Team of Poets to represent at the National Poetry SLAM in St. Paul, MN. The team earned 2nd in the Nation in Group Poetry SLAM. Judah 1 was the Coach and Slam-Master of both Adult teams.

In 2010 we moved to Pomona. We partnered with the dA Center for the Arts. After a Year at the dA Center for the Arts, Judah set his eyes and heart on a building across the street. That building became MACHINE Pomona in 2011.

From 2011-2014 during our tenure at Machine Pomona we motivated, we pushed boundaries, we donated, we activated.
